"Richard Hamilton" magazine article by R. C. Kennedy. The article/magazine clipping was carefully removed from a 1970 art magazine.

Text in the article is in English.

The article opens with:

"'Everything changes, except the avant-garde.' Paul Valery"

"Richard Hamilton's is the classic case of the misunderstood artist, and now that his tremendous achievement receives official acknowledgement one is almost tempted to forget the bygone years - during which he was allowed to languish in the shadows. His fullscale retrospective showing at the Tate Gallery is meant to include him in our Pantheon and justly so."

The article is approximately 9 1/4 pages in length [on 5 sheets of paper, plus part of one sheet of paper] and includes a number of black and white images within the text.

This is an original article/magazine clipping [not a copy or reprint], which was removed from a magazine.

The article was carefully removed directly from a magazine. [The rest of the magazine is not included.]
