Original magazine advertisement from the year 1971 for Shorewood Publishers, Inc., representing Romare Bearden. They were advertising an upcoming publication of a series of prints of Bearden's artwork, and also make mention of a retrospective exhibition of Bearden's art which was to take place on March 23, 1971 to June 7, 1971 at the Museum of Modern Art, NY. [Please note that this is a magazine advertisement/clipping only; no prints or other artwork are included.] The advertisement was carefully removed from a magazine.

The page measures approximately 8 7/8 inches wide by 12 inches high (including margins, if any).

As with most vintage ads, there may be yellowing to the paper due to age and may be some small bends, light wear/edge wear. (Any significant damage or wear will be noted above. Light wear and minor imperfections are to be expected.) [The image shown is of the actual ad offered for sale.]

The advertisement was carefully removed directly from a magazine.

[Please note: This is a magazine advertisement / magazine clipping only; no prints, paintings, sculptures, books, catalogues, full magazines, or other items are included.]
