Its story is that of an Anglo-Swiss commercial alliance which, stronger than political confederacies, has endured for over a century. Our readers will be interested in the activity of this enterprise, entirely devoted to the cause of Swiss quality watches."
"Les Bois" "The foundation of Baume and Company dates back to the years following the Neuchatel Revolution. In 1834, Louis Victor Baume and his brother Pierre Joseph Celestin started a small assembly centre at Les Bois, in the Bernese Jura."
