"Direct Transformation of Nuclear Energy into Mechanical Energy and its application to devices of very low power" by R. Keller, A. Krassoievitch, J. M. Favey, Research Laboratory Patek, Philippe & Co., S.A., Geneva - Original magazine article (magazine clipping) which was removed from a 1955 Swiss magazine.

Text in the article is in English.

The opening paragraph of the article reads:

"Introduction:

"Considerable research work has been carried out from Moseley in 1913 to Rappaport, Linder and Christian in 1951-52-53, in connection with the possibility of using radioactive sources in the construction of high tension generators for supplying low current. The reason why the first attempts were not very successful in spite of the originality of their conception, and why they remained for long merely isolated laboratory models, is mainly due to the fact that natural radioactive sources were rare and costly. For several years past, following the development of industrial techniques in nuclear physics, a considerable quantity of fission products or artificial radioactive sources has become available, if not cheaply at least easily and in appreciable quantities, the main suppliers as is well known, being the countries possessing atomic piles."

The magazine article was carefully removed from a Swiss magazine.

[Please note: this is a magazine article/magazine clipping only; no other items are included.]

The article is 11 pages in length (on 6 sheets of paper) and includes a few small black and white diagrams within the text.

As with most vintage magazine clippings, there is some yellowing to the paper due to age as well as light wear and small bends. The pages have been left untrimmed so there are tiny staple holes along the page edges from where they were removed from the publication in which they were included.

The magazine article was carefully removed directly from a Swiss magazine. It is not a copy or reproduction. The rest of the magazine is not included.

[Please note: this is a magazine article/magazine clipping only; no other items are included.]
