"Horology: The National Magazine for Advancement in Timekeeping," Volume IV, Number 5, August 1937 - vintage magazine.
The magazine measures approximately 6 inches wide by 9 inches high. It is 40 pages in length.
The sewn string binding has failed, leaving the pages loose, but none are missing. There are small holes along the binding page edge from where the magazine was sewn together. There is also some fairly heavy wear along the spine edge and some edge wear, dings and general wear to the cover. Pages inside are lightly yellowed from age but in good overall condition.
The publication features some interesting advertising as well as the following articles listed on the Table of Contents page:
* Otay San Jose Osaka Watch Factory Venture (this article is a continuation from a previous issue) - by Major Paul M. Chamberlain
* Watch Performance Under Service Conditions - by M. F. Mamby, Chief Engineer, Hamilton Watch Company
* The Rudd Free Pendulum - by A. A. Rudd
* Oiling a Watch
* California Law to Regulate Sale of Second-Hand Watches
