Original full-page Swiss magazine advertisement from the year 1980 for Longines Watch Company, "official time-keeper of the games of the XXIInd Olympiad, Moscow 1980" and "official time-keeper of the XIIIth Olympic winter games, Lake Placid 1980." The advertisement was carefully removed from a Swiss magazine.
Some of the text on the page reads:
"What you will be winning at the 1980 Olympic Games: new Longines business.
"Being Official Timekeeper of the 1980 Olympic Games means a heavy investment for Longines. The dividends go to the thousands of athletes who compete at lake Placid and Moscow; to millions of television viewers; and, when it comes to hard cash, to you, the Longines jeweller."
[Please note: this is a magazine advertisement / magazine clipping only; no watch, clock, parts or tools are included.]
The page measures approximately 7 5/8 inches wide by 10 1/4 inches high (including margins).
As with most vintage ads, there may be yellowing to the paper due to age and may be some small bends, light wear/edge wear. (Any significant damage or wear will be noted above. Light wear and minor imperfections are to be expected.) [The image shown is of the actual ad offered for sale.]
The advertisement was carefully removed directly from a magazine.
[Please note: this is a magazine advertisement / magazine clipping only; no watch, clock, parts or tools are included.]
