Original magazine advertisement from the year 1993 for Phillips Petroleum Company and featuring an image of Lady Liberty / the Statue of Liberty. The advertisement was carefully removed from a magazine.
Some of the text on the page reads:
"She's made of iron, steel and copper. We saved her millions because she isn't made of money."
"Recently, the Statue of Liberty represented more than just freedom. Due to cracks and corrosion in the iron pipes beneath her, she stood for a towering repair cost. But by using an innovation called Driscopipe, created by Phillips Petroleum, replacing the existing pipes was unnecessary. And a job estimated at $17 million was reduced to $600,000."
[Please note that this is a magazine advertisement/magazine clipping only; no other items are included.]
The page measures approximately 8 inches wide by 10 3/4 inches high (including margins, if any).
As with most magazine ads, there may be yellowing to the paper due to age and may be some small bends, light wear/edge wear. (Any significant damage or wear will be noted above. Light wear and minor imperfections are to be expected.) [The image shown is of the actual ad offered for sale.]
The advertisement was carefully removed directly from a magazine.
[Please note: This is a magazine advertisement / magazine clipping only; no other items are included.]
