Original magazine advertisement from the year 1945 for the United States Rubber Company, Rockefeller Center, New York 20, NY. The advertisement was carefully removed directly from a magazine.
Some of the text on the page reads:
"Foster Mother" "Nature generously provides a cow with four stomachs; but in calfhood, only one is capable of functioning. So when a calf gulps hungrily from a pail, the milk cannot be digested normally.
"To overcome this common handicap to healthy growth, United States Rubber Company engineers designed a rubber nipple which can be inserted at the base of a pail. This permits only the measured, natural flow of milk ... at just the rate any good Mother Cow would approve. Calves thrive on such feeding; milk is conserved; eventually the Nation's food supply is increased."
[Please note: this is a magazine advertisement / magazine clipping only; no other items are included.] The item shown on the ad is not included.
The page measures approximately 10 1/4 inches wide by 14 inches high (including margins, if any).
As with most magazine advertisements, there may be yellowing to the paper due to age and may be some small bends, light wear/edge wear. (Any significant damage or wear will be noted above. Light wear and minor imperfections are to be expected.) [The image shown is of the actual ad offered for sale.]
The advertisement was carefully removed directly from a magazine. No other items are included.
