Interesting 1926 hangable advertising piece for Richard Hellmann's Mayonnaise (Hellmann's Blue Ribbon Mayonnaise).
At the top is a "Cooking Time Table" disc. The paper disc turns from the back of the piece and lists average cooking times for various items, such as stewed fruits, fowl roasted, broiled meats, etc.
Below the cooking timetable disc, there is a recipe booklet which is affixed. The recipe booklet is 19 pages in length and includes recipes for main dish salads, fruit salads, and sandwiches containing Hellmann's mayonnaise as an ingredient. There is a little bit of paper loss at the bottom edge of the cover of the recipe booklet.
At the bottom, there is a small 1926 calendar. The calendar is in relatively poor condition, with tears, bends, folds, and some small bore holes (perhaps from insects?).
The entire advertising piece is attached to a paper board type of backing. There is some paper loss at the top (where there is a small hole where the piece would have been hung on a wall). There are also some small chips, tears and bends on the backing board.
In fair overall condition (but quite nice for its age). Please see the accompanying photos.
The piece measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide by 10 3/4 inches high (measuring from the very top to the bottom of the calendar section).
