"Comme on l'a dit deja, son origine remonte assez haut dans l'histoire de l'horlogerie, puisqu'a la fin du XVIIe siecle, des montres qui ne comportaient, encore qu'une seule aiguille - celle des heures - offraient deja la particularite de pouvoir declencher une sonnerie a un instant determine."
