Original full-page Swiss magazine advertisement from the year 1965 for Hamilton Watch Company, Bienne, Switzerland. The advertisement was carefully removed from a Swiss magazine.
The advertisement is in the form of a letter by Henry Huguenin, Directeur of the Hamilton Watch Company, addressed to "A Messieurs les visiteurs de la Foire Suisse d'Echantillons" (visitors of the Swiss Watch Fair).
This ad is printed on a slightly different sort of paper that the other pages in the publication (in an effort to give it the "feel" of an actual letter, I believe). There is a perforation along the left side of the page where one could have removed it from the original publication to bring it with one to the actual Fair. Because of the slightly different paper used for this ad, there is a bit more transparency to the page, allowing one to see some of the printing on the reverse side of the page.
[Please note: this is a magazine advertisement / magazine clipping only; no watch, clock, parts or tools are included.]
The ad measures approximately 7 5/8 inches wide by 10 1/4 inches high.
There are a couple of tiny yellowish spots on the paper. There is also a bit of transparency to the paper (allowing one to see some of the printing on the reverse side of the page).
As with most vintage ads, there may be yellowing to the paper due to age and may be some small bends, light wear/edge wear. (Any significant damage or wear will be noted above. Light wear and minor imperfections are to be expected.) [The image shown is of the actual ad offered for sale.]
The advertisement was carefully removed directly from a magazine.
[Please note: this is a magazine advertisement / magazine clipping only; no watch, clock, parts or tools are included.]
